Tasted Walentz

A couple years ago me and some friends bought tickets to a Morgan Page show in Edmonton. Something came up at the last minute, and my peeps backed out, but of course I could not be dissuaded from going, even by myself. While it wasn’t much fun roaming around the venue all on my lonesome it did make me more eager to get to know some new people that I met there.

I found this particularly awesome trio and we danced together for most of the night. After the show we all hung out to get Morgan’s autograph, and then one of my new friends was kind enough to put me up for the night on his couch. Since that night we have shared our mutual love for music via the internet and at shows, and have made attempts to hang out whenever possible.

Recently I learned that the two guys I had met were entering the Lights remix competition for “Toes.” Though their mix wasn’t quite done, I voted for it anyways, knowing that their love of good music could steer no joint production wrong. I’m not sure exactly who won that competition, but man am I glad that I voted for my boys. Their final mix for the track is now out, and it is absolutely fantastic.
